Construction of the Coomera Connector.

Infrastructure

One million residents will call the Gold Coast home by 2046. With the region’s population forecast to reach 6 million by 2046 across 12 local government authorities.

Our regional plan - Shaping SEQ – is guiding investment and development across SEQ to leverage benefits from its scale and agglomeration, and deliver equitable and sustainable outcomes for the entire region.

Shaping SEQ is important as it's the foundation upon which our future City Plan will be built.
